ACCI’s First Deputy to the Board of Directors Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, ACCI’s Administrative and Financial Deputy to the Executive Board Mr. Mirwais Hotak, ACCI’s directors of the International Relations and Export Development Departments meet with the Director of International Business Department Mr. Yu Yong and Mr. Ahmad Rateb Popal member of the Board of Directors to the International Chamber and talk about joint investment.

Mr. Yu Yong said, “Afghan China Rising Sun Trading Company is eager to invest in Afghanistan, enhance trade between Afghanistan and China and establish a joint commercial chamber.”
He, furthermore, asked for the cooperation of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment in this regard.

Mr. Muhmand appreciated the establishment of a joint commercial chamber and investment of the Afghan China Rising Sun Trading Company in Afghanistan and promised to provide legal support to the above-mentioned legal initiatives.

ACCI’s First Deputy to the Board of Directors Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, ACCI’s Service Deputy to the Board of Directors Mr. Naseer Ahmad Arab, ACCI’s President to the Secretariat Mr. Khan Muhammad Safaraz Baz, ACCI’s Financial Deputy to the Board of Directors Mr. Sherin Agha Sakhi, Khan Jan Alokozay, Zakarai Baryali, Zeyauddin Achakzay, and Sayed Parwez Sadat Hofyani members to the Board of Directors, Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI)’s First Deputy Mr. Ahmad Shah Hakimi and a number of traders met with Mawlawe Hojjatullah Ayoube and Mawlawe Abdul Hameed Hamasi security officials of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates and discussed the existing problems of the Private Sectors and traders.

ACCI’s Chairmanship said, “Customs, Banks, and Marriage Salons are being deactivated, traders and their family members are insecure, and there are numerous other problems in the exports and imports of Afghanistan, thus we would like to kindly ask the security officials of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates to provide legal solutions for these problems and help traders continue their activities and assist boost the economy of the country.”

Officials of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates promised to provide legal solutions for the aforementioned problems as soon as possible.

ACCI’s First Deputy to the Board of Directors Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, ACCI’s Financial President to the Board of Directors Mr. Sherin Agha Sakhi, and Ziauddin Achakzay a member to the Board of Directors met with a number of petroleum traders and discusses how to; overcome the existing challenges and provide the country people with better services.

Petroleum traders appreciated the hard work of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates in regards to providing them with a better security situation for their economic initiatives and added “Change of the regime, stoppage in imports, high cost of currency, and blockage of Shahzada Sarae are the main reasons for high petroleum cost in the country.”

Petroleum traders said that reactivation of the Shahzada Sarae and import of the ample amount of petroleum will result in low cost of petroleum in the country. Furthermore, they shared a number of problems with ACCI and asked ACCI to help provide them with legal solutions.

Besides, welcoming the traders, Mr. Muhmand asked traders of petroleum to provide people of the country with low cost of petroleum and better services and he also asked them to establish an association which could regulate the daily cost of petroleum in cities of the country.

In close coordination with the Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates Engineer Sayed Akbar Agha and other relevant officials of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates, Mr. Muhmand promised to take considerable measures in eradicating the existing problems of these traders and provide them with the required facilities.

ACCI’s Chairman Mr. Tawakal Ahmadyar, ACCI’s Investment Deputy to the Board of Directors Mr. Sultan Muhammad Safi, ACCI’s Financial President to the Board of Directors Mr. Sherin Agha Sakhi, ACCI’s International Relation’s President to the Board of Directors Mr. Sayed Jawid Burhan, Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Shafiqullah Atayee, Mr. Khan Jan Alokozay and Mr. Ahmad Zia Azimi Shenozada members to the Board of Directors meets with the American General Council of the economic affairs to Afghanistan Mr. Patrick Horney and discuss ways of overcoming the existing problems and means of developing the economy of the country under the auspices of U.S.A.   

Mr. Ahmadyar said, “Politics and diplomatic relations should not impact trade negatively. In the current unstable political context, we have to prioritize promoting trade with the neighboring countries because it not only develops the country's economy but also satisfies the basic needs of people.”

He also said, “We strongly appreciate the constant support of the International community which has enabled the Private Sector and the people in general, to continue working for a better future in a safe and secure environment.”

Mr. Alokozay said, “Afghan traders have paid 7 million rupees to Pakistani government as a detention. Pakistan has unfortunately politicized our trade which has always rendered numerous problems. A very good alternative to all these issues is the Chabahar port but the United States of America has to remove sanctions imposed on this port.”
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Horney promised to work closely with the ACCI on economic and commercial projects in order to eradicate the existing problems and develop the economy of the country.

ACCI’s First Deputy to the Board of Directors Mr. Muhammad Younus Muhmand, Mr. Khan Jan Alokozay and Mr. Ziauddin Achakzay members to the Board of Directors met with Rug Importers Association President Mr. Zabihullah and a number of dealers of electronics and discussed their problems and issues.

Mr. Zabihullah said, “We are willing to pay our tariffs to the customs of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates according to a well-balanced mechanism and procedure.”
He also asked ACCI to provide them with the required coordination and cooperation in this regard.
He, furthermore, appreciated the secure environment for economic initiatives established by the Afghanistan Islamic Emirates.

Mr. Muhmand asked the importers of rug and dealers of electronics to send all their problems and suggestion to ACCI in written form so that ACCI can share them with the relevant governmental organizations and help provide them with legal solutions.

Afterward, Mr. Muhmand shared problems of the traders with the Minister of Commerce and Industry H.E. Engineer Sayed Akbar Agha through a telephone call and H.E. Minister promised to provide legal solutions for the problems of the importers of rug and electronics as soon as possible.
