Heads of Afghanistan and Tajikistan Chambers Emphasize Expanded Economic Cooperation

Mr. Sayed Karim Hashemi, Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment held an online meeting with Mr. Farhad Shah Rahman Alizadeh, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan to discuss the expansion of trade relations, investment, and cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries.

Both sides emphasized increasing bilateral trade, establishing direct connections between traders and investors, and organizing joint economic programs.

Mr. Hashemi invited Tajik traders and investors to participate in the Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) Fifth National and International Exhibition in Kabul. In response, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan invited an Afghan delegation to participate in Tajikistan’s major Trade and Industrial Exhibition in Dushanbe.

Both sides also emphasized the exchange of business delegations and strengthening sustainable cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries.
