national traders and ACCI members exposed their
problem for president on 30, May 2009 at
Presidential State.
In this visit Mr. Alkozay ACCI BoD vice chairman
expressed his remark for president, (the country
economic have been improving in different rings) the
positive changes in Afghanistan cities shows the
reconstruction and development of the country.
Although the Ministry of Commerce & Industries and
Ministry of Finance support the private sector, but
insecurity is still a main problem.

of four Chapters and 17 Articles
which is
investigated and debated in 18th commissions
and it is presented by the Economic
Commission to the general session and after
presenting their proposals and views, the

ACCI Hosts
Bidding Procedures/Procurement Training Course(18-Jan-09)
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries
(ACCI), with support and cooperation of the Peace
Dividend Trust (PDT), will be carrying out a Bidding
Procedures/Procurement Training Course for the
Afghan business community. The training will take
place in ACCI´s main building in Kabul on 29 Jan
2009 and last from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Tripartite summit focuses on boosting ties among
Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey

Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries
(ACCI) jointly with the Federation of Pakistan
Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FPCCI) and
Turkish Chamber of Commerce launched a
tripartite summit aimed at boosting economic
ties among Afghanistan, Turkey and Pakistan.
Chief Executive of Afghanistan Chamber of
Commerce and Industries (ACCI), Mohammad Qurban
Haqjo, said the tripartite economic meet was
aimed at deveMloping investment and commercial
ties and building infrastructures such as
streets, hydro power dams and industrial parks
in the three countries.

Kabul,
Beijing extend trade ties

An agreement was inked in Kabul on Wednesday which
will provide better opportunity to Afghan China
investment and trading. The contract was linked
between the head of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce
and Industries (ACCI) and the Chamber of Commerce
head of Sing Yang state of China in Kabul.

Launch of the Afghan Women's Business
Directory

On the 2nd of August2008, the Afghanistan
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) in
coordination with the Women’ Employment
Promotion Project of the German Technical
Cooperation (GTZ) in Afghanistan will launch the
Afghan Women’s Business Directory which is a
database that lists businesses and business
membership organizations lead by Afghan women.
The directory will serve among other purposes,
to enhance awareness and accessibility to
women’s business activities in Afghanistan, also
contributing employment promotion for women.
ACCI Attracts Record Number of Members
