Awareness program for participants of Afghanistan Production Exhibition in India was held at Chamber

Awareness workshop for traders and members of private sector to attend Afghanistan Production Exhibition which will be conducted from 12-14th July in India, was held at conference hall of chamber on 23th June, 2018, in the presence of leadership board of Afghanistan chamber of commerce and industries (ACCI), representatives of USAID and CHAMP organizations.

Mr. Khan Jan Alokozay, the first vice president of ACCI, welcomed the participants and appreciated the continue support of USAID and CHAMP organizations in respect to Afghanistan’s exports, and organizing such workshop is crucial for exporters of country and especially for participants of above mentioned exhibition.

Mr. Alokozay furthermore added, establishment of air corridors with different countries has been strengthening and reinforcing the Afghan’s export which is supported by the government of Afghanistan and international organizations like USAID and CHAMP. And he emphasized, that exporters of the country should process and pack the Afghan products in the view of international standard.

Mr. Alokozay added that, conducting Afghan production exhibition in India is called as an important introduction of afghan production to foreign markets and especially to India, and afghan traders were invited to get advantage of such fair for afghan products. And additionally he added that, the main duty of private sector is paving the way for quality and packing of afghan products in the light of international standard, without that will not be able to have access to region and international markets.

Mrs. Beggi, country director of CHAMP organization, assured from continue support of CHAMP and USAID organizations to private sector especially launching of Afghan production expo in India, accordingly, the expo and workshop were called as a useful guidance to businessmen.

Thereby, the presentation of exhibition was presented by representatives of USAID, CHUMP organizations and director of exports and industries development of chamber to afghan traders, and necessary recommendations and measures were advised.

It is noteworthy that on the sidelines of the exhibition, bilateral meetings will be held between Afghan businessmen and other countries, during the exhibition which will be discussed on topics of interest.
